Another end to a great quarter, and we have three new Employees to highlight. These three colleagues did an excellent job during this period, and we are glad to have them as part of our growing team.
Ruben Osorio Bueno| Mexico Sales Representative| GLC-Inc
Ruben Osorio is from Puebla, Mexico. He has a degree in International Business, and joined GLC in January 2018, making it his first formal job experience out of college. During these years, he has grown professionally and has worked hard to reach the company’s overarching goals. He loves challenges, and one of his most important new growth opportunities was the creation of GLC’s first Mexico Branch, in Guadalajara. This opportunity allowed him to expand the market in his home country. The recognition of employee of the quarter makes him feel very proud to be recognized and rewarded.
David Mendoza| Operations Supervisor| GLC Distribution
David Mendoza works as the Operations Supervisor for GLC Distribution in Charleston, SC. He joined the GLC family in April 2021. He has 8 years of experience in distribution and production. Prior to GLC, he worked at Dollar General Distribution, Amazon, and Nike. Within these companies, he managed retail and led various departments within a warehouse. He considers himself as very competitive, highly motivated, and takes pride in everything he does. Every day he strives to be the best for himself, the team, and the company. He enjoys helping others by sharing his experience and knowledge acquired over the years.

With the help of leadership, CSR’s and other associates who constantly help with tasks/challenges, I achieved this award. This award is not only a representation of myself it is a representation of the TEAM entirely”, he said.
Karen Díaz| Pricing Specialist| GLC S.A.S
From Bogotá- Colombia, Karen Díaz has represented the hard-working, committed culture all Colombians share. She joined GLC in April 2021, bringing her 5 years of experience in Colombian freight forwarding and supply chain management. Previously, she handled pricing for imports and export shipments, contacting customers/agents, presenting pricing options, and more. Her previous job was FCL/LCL Pricing at MSL Colombia. She loves how her job has allowed her to grow professionally and personally; every day is a new opportunity to challenge herself. In addition, she is satisfied with new shipments assigned by clients who have trusted GLC through her work.
She works hard to help grow the Pricing Team, and she feels blessed and proud to be recognized as one of the Employees of the Quarter. She considers this accomplishment a personal reward for her constant effort to become a good element of this great family.
